Two years ago, in the garage of an avid fish-fanatic, the roots of a new fish club were laid. Fish enthusiasts from the Kingwood/Humble/Huffman area gathered once a month with one vision in mind: to enjoy fish. Through interaction on the HoustonFishBox, it was determined that the entire Greater Houston area would benefit from such a club. And thus it came to be. On the balmy evening of October 19th 2007, the GHAC held its first official meeting. Individuals, couples, and families from all over the city met at Mike’s Tropical Fish and Pets. In addition to hours of socializing, a raffle was held to help raise money for fees associated with starting up a legitimate not for profit organization.

Tim Bell (GHAC President)

GHAC is a Not for Profit Organization. Our goals are to Educate and promote the Fish Hobby.
